BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present "An Evening With The Black Crowes" at 8 p.m. on Nov. 6 in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.
Continuing to earn praise as "...one of the best live bands on the planet," according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Black Crowes are heading back out on the road to spread their "freak 'n' roll" on a newly announced fall tour.
Since reuniting and re-connecting with their loyal fans last year, The Black Crowes have been performing what some called "the best shows of their career." While they achieved a career watermark by headlining their New Year's Eve show at Madison Square Garden, the band -- Chris Robinson (vocals), Rich Robinson (guitars), Marc Ford (guitars), Eddie Hawrysch (keyboards), Sven Pipien (bass) and Steve Gorman (drums) -- also played seven sold-out shows at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom, performed five-nights at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and were headliners at three of the most prestigious festivals in America (New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits Festival).
Tickets for "An Evening With The Black Crowes" are $43. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Center for the Arts Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Kaufmann's.
