BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present "Spider-Man Unmasked" at 8 p.m. on April 20 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.

If you know Spider-Man, then you know that "with great power comes great responsibility." And since 2001, nobody has shouldered the physical weight of being Spider-Man more than award-winning Hollywood stunt man Chris Daniels. Now, for an exclusive look from behind the mask, Daniels reveals the secrets of his craft in a captivating interactive and multi-media lecture presentation.

Daniels began his storied career working on the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at MGM studios in Orlando. Surviving high tower jumps, car crashes and brutal battles became his calling card, and soon Hollywood took notice. He has played blood sucking vampires, ghoulish demons, hair-raising zombies and numerous other violent supernatural creatures on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel;" stunt-doubled for the mohawk-sporting bad guy who falls from a 75-foot letter "E" in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle;" and thrown himself in front of a speeding cab in "Just My Luck." But he is most well-known as Tobey Maguire's stunt man on all of the "Spider-Man" movies (including the upcoming "Spider-Man 3" film). He won the highly coveted Taurus World Stunt Award for "Best Overall Stunt by a Stunt Man" for his work on "Spider-Man 2" (2005).

During Daniels' presentation, audience members will get to experience what it is to be a Hollywood stunt man firsthand, as he takes them through his props bag, demonstrates with volunteers to simulate Hollywood "fight scenes," shows behind the scenes clips and shares some of the most heart-stopping, jaw-dropping stunts of his stellar career.
