Artist Kathleen Sherin to Lead Creative Family Education Program: Collagraph Relief Printing Workshops

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Artist, printmaker and educator Kathleen Sherin will conduct two collagraph relief printing workshops for families and children of all ages, to be held in the University at Buffalo Anderson Gallery on April 6. Enjoy the fun of creating original three-color prints from cardboard plates made of different levels and surface textures.  The workshops are presented in conjunction with Sam Francis: Black and White, drawn from the permanent collection of the UB Art Galleries and featuring the lithographs of artist and printmaker Sam Francis. 

Two workshop sessions will be offered, from 1-2 pm and 2-3 pm. The workshop sessions are open to the public, free of charge, and will be held in the UB Anderson Gallery second-floor education classroom. Space is limited. Both workshop sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-admitted basis.
