The Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at the University at Buffalo will hold its third annual Day of Service from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 1, 2009) at Grover Cleveland High School, 110 14th Street, Buffalo.
UB students, faculty and members of various campus organizations will visit the school to talk with Grover Cleveland students about careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and the emerging information society, as well as address students' questions about applying to college and college life and academics.
CSTEP is a past recipient of the National Science Foundation's Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring.
