BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway on Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. The performance is sponsored by A Best.
Following the fantastic audience response to Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway, Berg now brings his all new production, 101 Years of Broadway, to Buffalo as an all new musical revue with more of the greatest songs from the hit Broadway musicals. This highly anticipated return engagement features a dazzling cast of five Broadway stars accompanied by an all-star New York band.
101 Years of Broadway recreates the biggest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the actual stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita, CATS, Wonderful Town, Jesus Christ Superstar and Fiddler on the Roof. These amazing performers light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics, as well as thrilling songs from Broadway's newest hit shows.
Along with musical director and pianist Neil Berg, this production will feature Ray McLeod (Wreck, "Wonderful Town"), Rita Harvey (Christine, "The Phantom of the Opera"), Carter Calvert ("It Ain't Nothin' But the Bliues"), Danny Zolli (Jesus, "Jesus Christ Superstar"), and Craig Schulman (The Phantom, "The Phantom of the Opera," Jean Valjean, "Les Miserables"). Cast is subject to change based upon possible Broadway and touring developments.
Tickets for Neil Berg's 101 Years of Broadway are $39.50 and $29.50 general admission, and $25.50 for students (any school).
