The University at Buffalo Regional Institute will welcome the community into its new space in downtown Buffalo at an open house to be held December 15.
The event will be held from 4-6 p.m. at UB Downtown Gateway, 77 Goodell St., third floor, in Buffalo.
Speaking at 5 p.m. will be Kathryn A. Foster, institute director, James A. Willis, UB executive vice president, and James A. Gardner, vice dean for academic affairs with the UB Law School.
The first UB unit to move into refurbished space in the UB Downtown Gateway (former M. Wile building), the Regional Institute is a major part of UB's investment in and commitment to stronger university-community connections for a more vital downtown Buffalo and region. The recently refurbished space preserves the historical character of this former factory building while providing innovative, functional space for the institute.
