Community Members Sought to Serve on UB Human Research Boards

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo is seeking community members willing to serve on UB's human research review boards, which review and approve human research studies that involve biomedical, social, behavioral and educational research. Community board members, in particular, look at studies from the perspective of the human subjects.

UB is deeply committed to adhering to the highest ethical standards for all research conducted at the university. These standards apply to all who are involved in the research and scholarly process.

UB's researchers rank among the top in their fields, and have published in leading research journals. Their research has led to many breakthrough discoveries and advancements that have improved the health and quality of life for people around the world.
