BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will once again hold its Center Celebration to open its 2011-12 season. The celebration will be held, rain or shine, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 24 in the Center for the Arts atrium.
There will be a free picnic lunch open to the general public (while supplies last). The menu will include Sahlen's hot dogs, veggie hamburgers, salads, desserts, and more. Special thanks to Falletta's Award-Winning Restaurant.
All 2011-12 performances will go on sale at 10 a.m. One-day-only ticket discounts on Center for the Arts events will be available and there will be door prizes and giveaways. The first 500 patrons will receive a Center for the Arts keepsake item.
Center for the Arts sponsor AAA of WNY/Horizon Club Tours will have their new state of the art motorcoach on site for visitors to take a walk through.
