BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Department of Theatre and Dance at the University at Buffalo will present Zodiaque Dance Company In Concert "the 38th fall season" on Oct. 19-23 in the Drama Theatre in the Center for the Arts, UB North Campus. All performances are at 7:30 p.m., except on Sunday, when the performance will be held at 2 p.m.
Zodiaque Dance Company, renowned for the distinctive and diverse styles of its programs, continues to be an innovative force in university dance. The fall 38th concert showcases eight distinctive choreographers including guests, dance faculty and returning alumni that reflect Zodiaque as a vehicle for artistic expression. Choreographers include: Teal Darkenwald, UB alumna and assistant professor of dance at East Carolina University; UB faculty members Jeanne Fornarola, Joyce Lichtenberger and Kerry Ring; and invited guest artists Jon Lehrer, artistic director of LehrerDance; Tara Madsen, a performing member of TANIA ISAAC DANCE; Hee Ra Yoo on faculty at Dance New Amsterdam and Joffrey Ballet NYC; and Keith Thompson international dancer and choreographer on faculty at Rutgers-Mason Gross School of the Arts. Zodiaque is delighted to share another exceptional season featuring a platform for contemporary creations.
Tickets for Zodiaque Dance Company are $24 general admission and $10 for students and seniors.
