In a talk entitled "Finding a Cure for Parkinson's Disease," Jian Feng, PhD, UB professor of physiology and biophysics, will discuss his research using stem cells to find the causes and a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Feng's presentation will be followed by a talk by Thomas J. Guttuso, MD, UB assistant professor of neurology, and director of the Jacobs Neurological Institute's Movement Disorders Clinic. Guttuso will discuss the most promising treatments and strategies for Parkinson's disease patients.

Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, he has advocated for stem cell research and raised both public awareness of the disease and more than $251 million in research funding.
