WNED Documentary to Feature UB, Tripathi

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo will take center stage in "UB: Local Impact, Global Reach," a 30-minute documentary co-produced by WNED and the university that will air on WNED-TV at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14.

The show will take an in-depth look at Buffalo-Niagara's largest university and introduce viewers to UB President Satish K. Tripathi. It will feature major UB initiatives, announcements and events that have taken place since Tripathi was named UB's 15th president in April.

Among the subjects to be covered in the program are Tripathi's plans for UB, how the university will continue its engagement with local and global communities, and the special contributions of UB faculty, staff and students to Western New York.
