BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Business Leader Stacey Davis of Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, part of Johnson & Johnson, will be in Buffalo April 4 talking with entrepreneurs, investors and business professionals about making deals through corporate investment.

Joining Davis and focusing on underserved market opportunities for mezzanine and equity investments will be Ari David Kocen, a managing director with the New York City office of Stonehenge Growth Capital.

Davis and Kocen will present during "The Secrets of Successful Valuation, Exit & Investment Strategies," a workshop that takes place Wednesday, April 4, from 12:30-6 p.m. at the University at Buffalo's New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences at 701 Ellicott St. in Buffalo.

The workshop sets the stage for the 2012 Venture Forum (May 16-17), which will give entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their concepts to investors.

MedTech, Bright Buffalo Niagara and UB's New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences are presenting the April 4 event. Sponsors include Superior Group, UVANY, EFP Rotenberg and StoneBridge Business Partners with support from the WNYVA/Buffalo Angels.
