BUFFALO, N.Y. – Physician and television journalist Sanjay Gupta will speak at the University at Buffalo at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, in Alumni Arena on the North Campus as part of the Distinguished Speakers Series.
A practicing neurosurgeon and chief medical correspondent for CNN, Gupta reports on health and medical news for several shows and documentaries, and anchors the medical affairs program, “Sanjay Gupta, MD.”
He is the recipient of two Emmy awards for his reports on the earthquake in Haiti and contributed to the network’s Peabody Award-winning coverage of the BP oil disaster and Hurricane Katrina.
During the program, audio and/or video photography, as well as still photography, will be limited to the first five minutes of his lecture.
