BUFFALO, N.Y. – Tonight, hundreds of University at Buffalo alumni will gather at Buffalo’s iconic Larkinville venue to celebrate their alma mater.
As part of the celebration, members of the UB Bulls, cheerleaders and marching band will greet guests and fill the historic entertainment district with life through live music and dance.
UB President Satish K. Tripathi will deliver remarks, and throughout the night, alumni can visit informational tables to learn about volunteer opportunities at UB and in local community, and participate in contests for the chance to win prizes every half hour.
The event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19, at 745 Seneca St. from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Remarks are slated for 7:30 p.m. Media are encouraged to attend.
“Our university has so much to celebrate, and we’re holding these events to share the excitement with our alumni and thank them for supporting UB,” says Carol Gloff, president of the UB Alumni Association.
UB’s all-alumni celebrations have become an annual event, not only in Buffalo, but also in cities that include Washington, D.C., and New York City.
