BUFFALO, N.Y. – Internationally renowned producer, designer, artist and choreographer Doug Fitch will present his new work for theater, “How Did We…?” starting tonight (Thursday, Nov. 13) in the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts.

The production offers great visuals and sound – see “flying” protagonist, “spider” choreography, dancing sensory organs, ships passing in the night, erupting volcano, and eerie and evocative music by classical and contemporary composers.

WHAT: The remarkable new collaborative theatrical production “How Did We…?,” designed and directed by internationally known avant-garde designer, director, choreographer and producer Doug Fitch with the students of the UB Department of Theater and Dance and Department of Music.

WHY: A very unusual, surreal and exciting trip through the mind of a character exploring the meaning of meaning itself.

WHEN: 7:30-9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 13-15

WHERE: Drama Theater, Center for the Arts, UB North Campus.

CONCEPT: Fitch says the title refers to the confusion and complexity faced by anyone trying to figure out the world and his or her place in it.
