BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo Libraries will bring therapy dogs to campus to help students cope with stress while preparing for final exams.
Media are invited to see the dogs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 8-10 at the following locations:
UB's Health Sciences Library began bringing therapy dogs on campus in December 2011. The effort has grown to include coffee, snacks, soothing music, chair massages and other offerings.
UB is working with Therapy Animals of Western New York, or TAWNY, and other organizations that promote the healing power of dogs and other animals, to bring the dogs on campus.
