BUFFALO, N.Y. — Think you have a great startup idea? Here’s how to find out. Come to the University at Buffalo’s New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences’ (CBLS) Innovation Lecture Series event, “Investing in Your Startup: From Business Plan to Market.”

Many aspiring entrepreneurs aim to bring the next great idea to the marketplace, but those dreams can fall short without the know-how to navigate the entrepreneurial system.

When: 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015.

Where: On second floor of the CBLS, 701 Ellicott St., Buffalo.

Who: Kevin Centofanti, senior managing director of Brooks Houghton & Company Inc., will share what every startup needs to know about moving a business forward, including an overview of case studies from the biotech and bio manufacturing industries.
