Her company performs dance pieces that portray real and imagined characters whose complexity and authenticity she demonstrates through movement. Ms. Jacob-Zysman's creative process and choreography is driven by her belief that dance should be a therapeutic exploration of the truest form of the self.
The company will be in residence for 10 days as part of the Center for the Arts Professional Dance Residency. During this time, the company will provide master classes for University at Buffalo Dance Majors as well as engage students at two Buffalo public schools, Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts and Cloverbank Elementary, in hands-on dance activities.
