Buffalo, NY – Under the direction of Kerry Ring and Jenna Del Monte, the 2018-19 academic year marks the 45th anniversary of Zodiaque Dance Company.  The Company rounds-out this anniversary year by presenting Zodiaque Dances On, an awe-inspiring array of diversified choreography performed by current UB dancers.  The company exhibits a tremendous range of styles and repertory and fosters tradition, while continuing to encourage the creation of new works by faculty, students, alumni and guest choreographers.  

Zodiaque Dances On highlights include works choreographed by UB Dance faculty/alumna member Danielle Sheather (2003); directors/faculty Kerry Ring and Jenna Del Monte; faculty Melanie Aceto; alumnus Richard Ashworth (2007) and Rebecca Guile Wind (2002); and past Managing Director of Zodiaque Tressa Gorman Crehan.  Other contributions include works by Creative Arts Initiative guest artist in residence Kimberly Bartosik and Zodiaque’s signature bow staged by Zodiaque Immediate Past Artistic Director, Tom Ralabate.  Illuminating the concert will be student lighting designer Matvey Kitchen.  Zodiaque Dance Company, UB’s resident dance company, continues to be an innovative force, advancing its inspired talents through creative investigations and stimulating collaborations, while presenting works by respected dance makers.
