An article in the San Francisco Chronicle on the vulnerability of airport security despite measures that have been implemented since 9/11 quotes Colin Drury, professor of industrial and systems engineering and director of UB's Research Institute for Safety and Security in Transportation, who said, "An X-ray system doesn't pick up vapors.
