An article in the St. Louis Post Dispatch on how movie-viewing habits have changed, at least in part, because of technology quotes Elayne Rapping, professor of American studies, who said, "It's not the same thing, watching Blade Runner or Brokeback Mountain on a computer screen, much less an iPod.
