Washington Times: Johnstone discusses higher education

D. Bruce Johnstone, University Professor of Higher and Comparative Education, is quoted in an article in The Washington Times that reports on a conference held to discuss higher education sponsored by the Fulbright New Century Scholars Program. "Higher education," he said, "is becoming increasingly vital not only to individual opportunities and productive economies, but also to democratic government, social justice and robust civil societies."
