UPI: What causes link between alcohol and breast cancer?

An article distributed by UPI reports UB researchers say they have discovered the mechanism linking alcohol with the risk of breast cancer, and quotes Menghua Tao, research assistant professor of public health and health professions, who said, "It is well known that alcohol consumption is associated with increased risk of breast cancer, but the mechanisms of action are still unclear."
