Winnifred Sullivan, associate professor of law and director of UB's Law and Religion program, is quoted in an article in The New York Times about a professor at a Christian liberal arts college who is resigning because he is getting a divorce and college policy states that divorce for reasons other than adultery and abandonment is grounds for firing. "It's a perennial issue," she said. "Ever since the crucifixion and Easter, Christians have been trying to figure out how to have a Christian community."
