An article distributed by the Associated Press looks at the Building Blocks pre-kindergarten math curriculum developed by Douglas Clements, professor of learning and instruction, and Julie Sarama, associate professor of learning and instruction. Students using the curriculum have been shown to learn 50 percent more than peers taught more traditional lessons. The article appeared in news outlets throughout the state, including the Albany Times Union.
