An article distributed by HealthDay reports on an international study published in the New England Journal of Medicine that shows that a strategy called "rate control," as opposed to rhythm control, may be the best option for keeping patients suffering heart failure and atrial fibrillation healthy, and quotes Michael Cain, dean of the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, who is co-author of an editorial that accompanied the article. The article appeared in roughly 100 news outlets throughout the country.
