Newsday: Flexibility for all of SUNY

An editorial in Newsday about the state Senate's passage of the UB 2020 legislation says the bill "misses the mark" and the ultimate solutions to the problems facing SUNY must not be about just one campus. The editorial notes that "UB 2020…arose from a laudable local effort to deal with a broken economy. But it gives only Buffalo the kind of flexibility that the whole system needs. It would put Stony Brook at a disadvantage."
