An article in The New York Times about archaeologists finding the ancient harbor town of Bathonea in Turkey because of a protracted drought in Istanbul, and the wealth of relics from the fourth to the sixth centuries A.D. that have been found there, quotes Bradley Ault, associate professor of classics who has studied ancient port cities in Greece and Cyprus.
