NYT runs UB history professor's op-ed on the Civil War

Carole Emberton, assistant professor of history and a specialist in Civil War and Reconstruction history, is the author of an op-ed in The New York Times "Disunion" series, which follows the Civil War as it unfolds. Her article recounted the experiences of her great-great grandfather, who as a young man fought on the Union side during the Civil War.
