An article on the front page of the Buffalo News reports UB has chosen the well-known, international architectural firm HOK to design its new $375 million medical school on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The article quotes UB President Satish K. Tripathi and Robert Shibley, dean of the UB School of Architecture and Planning, who said, "You don't get many opportunities to do a project of this size and scope on Main Street. It's just a tremendous opportunity for downtown, Allentown and the entire neighborhood."
