The Washington Post interviews UB expert on the social benefits of secular gatherings

John Shook, research associate professor of philosophy, is quoted in an article in The Washington Post about the first Washington meeting of the Sunday Assembly, a secular gathering designed to provide participants with the social of benefits of church-going without the religion.  “They emphasize participation, singing, having a good time,” he said. “I think the D.C. area is ripe for it.”
