Steve Dubovsky, professor and chair of political science, was interviewed on Fox News for a story about the first anniversary of the massacre in Newtown, Conn. “People with mental problems account for a very small percentage of those who commit violent crimes,” he said. “You have to be careful when you’re taking a person’s violent act and then pointing to an event in the past as evidence.”
