An editorial in the Buffalo News about the importance of gifts from the John R. Oishei Foundation to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus includes among the contributions a $5 million gift to the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, which pushed UB nearly to the halfway mark in its private fundraising goals for the $375 million building.
