CTV News reported on UB study that a high proportion of high schoolers are drinking high-energy drinks

Kathleen Miller, senior research scientist at UB’s Research Institute on Addictions, is quoted in an article on CTV News about a new study that showed that a significant proportion of high school students appears to be consuming high-caffeine energy drinks, and for some of them at least there seems to be a link with mental health issues, substance abuse and sensation-seeking behavior. The findings are troubling, but not surprising, she said. She also was quoted in articles that appeared in the Calgary Herald and Personal Liberty Digest.
