An article in National Geographic about the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Rwanda and how the people of that country are moving forward after the tragedy interviews UB alumnus Celestin Rwabukumba, the 39-year-old CEO of the fledgling Rwanda Stock Exchange, whose life was saved when he and his brother escaped to the Rwandan Patriotic Front-controlled parliament building, which became a safe haven for those who could make it through the roving militias and government troops.
