An article in the New York Post features Shep Gordon who, after graduating from UB, drove to Los Angeles and moved into the first hotel he saw, the Hollywood Landmark, famous for its rock ’n’ roll residents, which led to friendships with, among others, Janice Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. Gordon is the subject of the documentary “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon,” which opens Friday and features music and film stars recounting Gordon’s life.
