The Buffalo News reported that UB has nearly 30,000 students enrolled for 2014-15, the largest student body in its history. The story quotes Provost Charles F. Zukoski who told members of the UB Council that, in addition, "this year's freshman class includes more than 40 high school valedictorians and salutatorians." President Satish K. Tripathi said UB has become the top destination for valedictorians in Western New York.
