An article distributed by Health Day News reports on a study by Clara Bradizza, senior research scientist in UB’s Research Institute on Addictions, that found that treating substance abuse at the outset is more likely to reduce violent acts by people with severe mental illness. The article appeared on the websites of television stations through the nation.
