An article on the website of the British Psychological Society reports on research by Rina Das Eiden, senior research scientist in UB’s Research Institute on Addictions, that found that the behavior of a mother who takes cocaine can have a psychological impact on her child, who can develop behavioral problems if they are treated harshly by a drug-taking parent.
