UB alum wins Oscar for work on Whiplash

An article on Huffington Post features Thomas Curley, who graduated from UB in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in film studies, and won an Oscar for sound mixing last night for his work on Whiplash. “When I took the job of sound production for Whiplash, everyone called me crazy,” Curley said.
