An article on Huffington Post reports on a new UB study that found that one reason why dieting is difficult is because people make plans to change what they eat based on what they think, rather than how they feel. The article quotes Marc Kiviniemi, associate professor of community health and health professions, who said, “Feelings don’t require in-depth thinking and self-control.” Articles also appeared on Fox News and Yahoo News.
