A story on MSN reports on a UB study that found larger, heavier – and more expensive – vehicles fare better than smaller, lighter ones in a collision. The article notes that while many vehicles that performed poorly in the study’s findings have high government or industry crash-test scores, the controlled conditions of those tests don’t always accurately reflect real-world crash scenarios in which a collision between a smaller, lighter car and a larger, heavier car almost always result in the occupants of the larger vehicle faring better. An article also appeared on PickupTrucks.com.
