Tougher NY college campus sexual assault legislation passed

An article in Business First and the Buffalo Law Journal about legislation signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to combat the rise in sexual assault on college and university campuses statewide notes that there are more than 20 colleges and universities in Western New York, including UB. The article notes that the legislation extends the prevention policy and protections recently adopted by SUNY campuses, which served as a model for the reforms.
