An article on Bloomberg Big Law Business, a business-of-law community, by UB sports law professor Nellie Drew looks at the scandal surrounding DraftKings, the largest of the two primary Daily Fantasy Sports companies, and an employee who used proprietary information from its operations to win a $350,000 payout from rival FanDuel. “The fantasy sports business, which has invested so much in its own vision – at substantial losses to date – needs immediate, substantive legal support to avoid becoming a real world horror show,” she writes.
