Readying New York's medical marijuana program

A story on Capital Tonight interviews Edward Bednarczyk, professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice in UB’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, about the state’s medical marijuana program, scheduled to launch on Jan. 5. He discussed the pros and cons of the program, as well as of releasing the names of prescribers. You want to make sure that the patients that are using medical marijuana are patients that have the highest likelihood of benefitting from it, he said.
