A story on WBFO-FM reports on the grand opening of Blackstone LaunchPad at UB, a hands-on learning program created by the Blackstone Charitable Foundation that is designed to introduce entrepreneurship as a viable career option to all UB students, regardless of major, and interviews UB President Satish K. Tripathi. “This is a facility, this is a program which is open to everyone. It’s not just for the business school or engineering school. It’s right in the middle of the center, right in the Student Union, where people are seeing it, going and coming, so this provides that ecosystem,” he said. The story also aired on NPR affiliates throughout the state on Innovation Trail.
