An article in The Washington Post about Saturday’s March for Science in Washington, D.C., interviews Arthur Edelman, associate professor of pharmacology and toxicology in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, who said he was concerned about the future of his graduate students at a time when the NIH can only fund nine out of every 100 grant proposals submitted. “That means you’re dead in the water unless you get results,” he said. An article also appeared on Global Animal, an online news magazine and social community.
