New downtown home for Jacobs School opens

Several local media outlets, including the Buffalo News, WIVB and WBEN reported on today’s grand opening of the new home of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. More than 500 people attended the ceremony for the state-of-the-art UB facility, including Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul. “We’re celebrating the grand opening of much more than a new building today. This is the start of a new era for UB, for our medical school and for this entire region,” said Dr. Michael E. Cain, dean of the Jacobs School.
