Why are so many women dying from drinking?

An article in Refinery29 interviewed R. Lorraine Collins about the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse report that revealed there has been a staggering increase in the number of women dying from alcohol-related causes, in that social media portrayals of heavy drinking may play a part. “You don’t want those kinds of messages to become the norm,” Collins said.
