Millard Fillmore's achievements should be celebrated, not vilified

The Buffalo News published an op-ed written by James Campbell, about exploring the legacy of President Fillmore and the Compromise of 1850. Campbell writes that as Fillmore's critics see it, "Fillmore was a defender of slavery and a failed president repudiated by his party. They could not be more wrong."
